Dear Sir
Our oldest son Edward is very
much reduced and weakened from
constant fever which he has had for
eight or ten days, it has never been
of during that time, he does not com
plain of pain but seems to have
been very bilious. We have given
him Calomel, two doses of Salts and
one of oil, all of which have opera
=ted a good deal and left his bowels
rather disordered, has no appetite, and
sleeps but little. I have endeavoured
to describe his situation as nearly
as I can, will thank you to send by
Brodie what will check the fever and
and strengthen him; and you will
much Oblige Your Friend & SertBrodie S. Hull
Thursday night 13th Octor.
