Dear Doctr.
It is entirely out of my power
to come to Fredericksburg as soon as I would wish
Consequently have to write for more medicines as
I am out of Pills and Ether a supply of which
you will please send - The Bearer will
hand you the phial in which you will put
the Ether --- I do not perceive that I get any
better in regard to my feelling notwithstan [ding]
my head does not swim as it did but at
times neither have I had another attack since
Isee[saw] you, but fear very much thee
approach -- you will write what is
best for me and I will follow your
directions
