Dear Sir
On reaching home last evening I
found my wife more unwell than when
I left her in the morning - She thought her complaint
proceeded from Colic, & was at a loss to know
what to take- As it is necessary she should
take some medicine this morning, I beg You
will ride down early & prescribe what You
think her situation may require. Caster oil
& salts she thinks will not remain on her stom[ach]
perhaps what is proper may be best in the
form of pills - however when You see her
You will be better able to judge -
