Dear Sirs
My uncle when he left home requested
me to administer medicine in plain attacks to his
negro's who might be sick - I administered Calomel
to a boy who has contrived, by imprudently neglecting
soups to carry it off, and by drinking cold water, to salivate
himself - He now complains of a pain in the Breast
and as he has been under salivation for nearly a week
which I have been unable to [c]heck, I am induced,
in compliance with the request of my uncle, to request
that you will either visit him this Evening, or prescribe
for him & send, the proper medicineVery Respy
