Dear Sir!
My Son James is very desirous
you should ride up & see him, directly, as
within a few days past his thigh has
swollen very much, quite down to the knee,
& causes him much pain - The discharge
is as abundant as ever, & the matter is
dark & bloody - I hope you will be up
tomorrow & am Dr Sir
