Sir, The medicine you gave little Bessy yesterday
operated only once up & three times down. She had no fever
last night - neither has she any to day - as yet - She does
not Complain of her throat - altho the blister still remains,
Should any unfavorable change take place, will instantly in=
form you, & in the mean time - please let me know
what mode of treatment I must pursue, besides giving
giving the mixture which you sent over, which She has
been taking agreeable to your directions - Yours with esteem
