Mrs. Barbour asks the favor of Doctor Carmichael, to furnish
her with a small quantity of medicine as heretofore, she is
not without, but is on a visit to Culpeper, and has left
her medicine in Orange, finds it more convinient to get
a small [quantity] again, than to send for it, he will send directions she
finds it dayly necessary to her health, it is a mixture unknown
of two or three sorts, or kinds, of medicine, its a bitter as well
as a purgative - he will forward his account to Col. James
Barbour of Orange for payment - -
