Mrs. Hills old complaint
still continues - It has affected her
for more than three weeks with
little or no abatement -- Her
bowels have been in a constipated
state for several days & she has
this morning taken a second
dose of oil in compliance with
your directions -- The first she took
produced dark-green motions at
tended with smarting which she
supposed might probably indicate
bile - It would be satisfactory to
us, if you could ride & see her this
morning, Should you not think
it necessary to do so, be so good as

which Dr. E. Carmichael gave
me the other day, but with
no visible effect
