Sirs,
One of My Small Negroes has a very bad eye
his Mouth & face & 8 or 10 days a go broke out very
Much, we gave him a dose of Salts; Soon after his eye
enflamed, & one of them is very bad I am afraid it
will burst, it matters very Much & he is entirely
blind in it as he can not open it. - he had
a dose of Calomel three days a go. - we have applied
poultices of bread & milk but with out any benefit.
If you think it can be Saved you will please
Send the necessary Medicine by the bearer with
