DearGentlemen
My woman Maria can speak
and swallow somewhat better, than
she did. The swelling on the outside
her throat has subsided a little.
within side, [ only one side,] the swelling has also
lessen'd and a number of white blis-
ters appear - on the other side
it appears quite closed. She is
distressed with a vast quantity of
phlegm which perhaps might be
removed by another puke.
If you deem it necessary to
send anything else for her, you
will please deliver it to my
man Hiram-we have yet
a plenty of the Linmt-
