My Dear Sir

Mrs Brooke is as well as
might be expected, She is very feeble
but her fever is not high. She complains
of a loss of Sight in one of her eyes
though there is no appearance of
any defect in it, the little girl
is quite well and Sucks very
heartily - if you can not ride
down I should be glad you
will prescribe for whatever
you may think proper, we
Should both prefer the former

Yours very Sincerely

FBrooke

She is in want of the gutta vita
