Doctor Carmichael
I shall take it a very particular
favour if you will send by Sam a phial of par
aqoric a large phial of castor oil half a pound of
Epsom salts and half a pound of good bark for my "own"
family as I fear until we take some medicine we
shall all be very sick I am sorry to be so trouble
some to you but my eldest daughter Mrs. Slaugh
ter is now very much indisposed and I cannot as
yet procure money for any use whatever I therefore
hope you will not think I impose on your kindness
to me for which you have my grateful acknoweldge
ment with great regard
