Wm Baxter, my overseer, who applied to you
some time ago, for medicine & advise for his wife,
desired me to say, that she still continues very fee
ble & helpless - Her limbs (legs particularly) swell very
much indeed, and her mouth & tongue are exceed
ingly sore. & have been sore since she took the
medicine you advised - there is aconstant
discharge of salivia - Mrs. Rose informs me
furthur that your patient (Mrs. Baxter's) complain

that the swelling extends to her Body & occasions a
great degree of chafing, when ever she [passes her urine] .It is wished for you to prescribe what
ever you think proper for her, bearing in
mind her advanced state of pregnancy &
great debelity - In haste
