up as speedily as you can & see my son
MacKenzie who [is] really very ill. He has com
plained of his head for three weeks past
& we have given him Calomel & Tarter
some days ago Which we supposed had cured
him, he is frequently puking & has a high
fever upon him at this time. I feel mor
tified at sending for you having owed
you for services rendered long ago which
has relieved me of much pain both in
Body and mind & altho I have not the means
now to compensate you for your labour
I trust this autum I shall be in a situati
on to do so, which will be productive of much
pleasure to me I assure you - come
speedily as you can -
