Dear Doctors

My poor little Daughter is very ill I never
saw a child of her age so affected before in my life
from her first being taken which was in June she
appeared to linger without much perceptable fever com
plaining occasionally of pains more frequently in her
knees than any other part she has taken all the medi-
cine which you have prescribed for her and is now much
weaker than when you saw her she was taken on
Sunday weak with a regular intermitting fever which
she still has and she cannot sit up a minuit when
her fever is high she complains of great pain in her
head and her eyes are very much effected particularly
her left eye I shall take it a very great favour if
you will write me and send medicine for her and also
come and see her to day or tomorrow at any rate as
she is really in need of more assistance than I am
able to afford myself with great respect I am your friend
