I have a Small negro girl, 8 years old
that was taken last Saturday with a high
fever & violent pain in the head, & appeared
Sleepy & dull; She has had a dose of Calomel,
& a dose of Salts & tartar, both opperated well
& She dischared a good deal of bile; but She
Still continues very weak, her appetite very bad,
She has a high fever every evening; we this mo-'g
gave her a dose [of] worm Seed oil.- you will
please Send what you think necessary with
directions I Shall be in town tomorrow and
will See you. -Yrs Very
