Gentlemen,

The woman's knee is not so much swelled
as it was, the swelling having nearly subsided. Her
leg & ancle has swelled, & likewise her foot. Where
the Seton is, her knee sometimes discharges blood.

The salve is out, & she has taken all the pills.
You will please send such Articles as you think
necessary - The old Man has got well of the
Dropsy, & has gone out to work. But it may be
necessary he should still take bitters, or something
to prevent a relapse - please send what you
think proper -.

Francis has had the Ague & fever for about
a week - every other day - You will oblige us
by sending by the bearer half a pound of pale
bark, as we have none to give him -

I am

yr. friend & Sert.
