We have recd you
esteemed faver of the 20' instYou will please keep the
note of Middletons and let them pay as fast
as they can and credit the amt on the back
of the note - we are a good deal surprised at
their inability to pay the small amount -
and also regret it because our payments this
month are unusually heavy - we have
two other notes of the same amount - and
as they have made so bad a beginning
we fear these others will also lay over -Your respectfully
