Dr. Doctor

My poor afflicted wife insists this morn
=ing that I shall send for one of you to see her, and
although you & all of us know that your visit
will avail nothing, yet if you or Dr. E. can
come out without inconvenience, I shall be
glad - you can probably give her something
that will comfort her - she had a bad night
of it. restless & [unclear] - should you not come
& [should] send any thing let it something that she can
swallow with most ease as the throat is much affect
=ed, every small quantity of any thing is apt
to strangle.

Yours very swiftly,

Richard Hill
