Dear Sir,

According to my mother's request
I send you her statement of the rise &
progress of her present indisposition.-
On Sunday evening last she was at=
tacked with a severe pain in the side
accompanied with fever & difficulty
of breathing which has continued with
very little intermission up to this date.
She begs that you will either come
down or direct her by letter what -
course must be pursued in order to
be relieved from her distressing mala=
dy. - If you can possibly come
down, you would be able to form a
better idea of the case, which I as=
sure you is a serious one. -

Yrs respectfully

M G. Taliaferro
