Dear Sir

I have a negro woman who
has within three days, been taken quite
suddenly and without any previous symp-
-toms of sickness, either of fever or pain,
in a state of raving or derangement.
Two or three months since she had
a child and has been in a rather
delicate health ever since but without
the marks of any particular disease.
Her delirium is such as to require as
speedy releif as practicable. I should
be obliged to you if [you] would see her for
me, and bring such medicines as you may
think requisite.

I am respectfully

Yr Friend

Charles R. Battaile
