Dr. Sir-
I have to request that one of you will
visit Mr. John Holliday instantly - Today is the 17th day -
after being clear of fever yesterday and taking bark all
day, his fever rose about twelve oClock last night &
he was immediately taken speechless - I saw him about
two oClock, but our stock of family medicine is small -
& should neither of [you] be able to come I would get the
favour of one of yr. young gentlemen to get Dr. Wellford
for the messenger - he being engaged Dr. Browne -In haste
Very Respectfully
yr. friend
