My friend Doctor Carmichael will do me the
favor to send me something for my Stomach, which
is again in the old way, that is an indisposition
to retain anything. As the winter approaches this
has been the case for some time. It is particularly
troublesome ofthemorning & in damp weather, attend=
ed with a disagreeable cough & a discharge of bile
from the stomach. I must beg the Doctor to be
particular in his prescription, he has on a for-
mer occasion given me great relief, I think the
case a little more serious now.
That is the stomach appears to be in a
more vitiated state.
Sincerely
Uril. Taliaferro
