Dear Sir
My son Richard has had a return of the ague and
fever which induces me to solicit your aid again indeed
to confess the truth to you who I look on as a friend such is my
present situation that I have not money to buy even medicine
for my family when they are sick or I would not call on
you so often but I hope to have my suits decided during
this year so as to enable me to pay you for your kind
ness to me will you be so kind as to send me a box
of quinine pills a phial of paraqoric and a pound of
Epsom salts if you have it with sincere regard
Lucy Alexander
