My Dear Friend
I embrace this oppertunity to inform you of my Situation hopeing
it will be in your power to relieve me the prinsipal part of
my misery is acros my back and in both sides and up through my
Shoulder blades the pain go [s]e from just above my short ribs a
Cros my back in the other side eatch Side of my back bone is quite
Sore some times i am in misery downitto my anckkles and my feat
and legs swel very bad and all most a constant misery in eatch of my
temples and acros my forard the burnig is a cros my back and some [times]
it is all over my body and preticular acros my belly and in eatch side
of my belly there is pain you could civer With your theumb i am in a
very regular state every way except my water at time i dough knot
[unclear]more than a spoon ful at a time but know pain scearsly with
[unclear] smells very bad and at times it settles thick when it stands i
am very weak indeed tho i take all the execise i posibly can but
can get know eas i cannot he [l] p thinking it tis my kidneys from
the misry in my back i have a good apetite and still fall aw [a] y my
dear docter i hope you will think of my sitution and try and send me
Some thing to relieve me if you can [this] misery just above the small of my
back down to my hips i entend to start to the spring this weak if the
weather gets fair and will endeave to attend to your directions as fair
as i can and feal under great obligations to you for you trouble and hope
it will knot be long before we can make you some mense may the
bless you in all your undertakens is the prey of your unworthey
friend
