of the 14' inst is recd. - we are very much surprised
to hear that Middletons would let their note
lay over -. a protest will make it no better -
you will please to hold the note and no
doubt they will pay it in a few days - should
it have been protested /add the amt of protest
on the back of the note - after H. O. M
gets over his domestic troubles, please call
on him and endea [vo]r to get it paid -
we hold two other notes of same amt. one
due 14th.. June the other 14' July -Your very respectfully
