Dear Sir,

My daughter is not worse, tho'
I can't say she is much better. She seems
to continue much the same. You will
please send such medicines & directions
for her as you may think necessary. The
mixture in the Phial is nearly out. She
seems to be very weak.

Please also to send the medicine and
directions for the woman you saw when
here - She tells me, that for sometime past
she has had a little fever & head ach every
other night, which she forgot to mention
to you.

You will oblige me by send
-ing me some Richmond & Washington
papers. They will amuse me during my
confinement to the house this bad weather

I am dear Sir

yr. friend & Ser.t
