My Dear Sir

Mrs Brooke continues
very unwell, She was in much
pain night before the last but
was relieved by the [gutta vita]
the first Dose She has taken, last
night was pretty free of pain
but this morning is feverish
and weak She thinks She is
very Bilious and proposes to
take a Dose of the Epsom
Salts or Some other cathartic
if you approve of it, I do not
think She has done Justice
to the powders as She has only
taken them twice, She will
however be implicitly
governed by your Direction

Yours

F Brooke
