Gen n

I have the pleasure of informing
you that Mrs. B. is much better - tho I think it
necessary to state her situation and the effect of
the medicine - she has taken 2 of the Pills which
were directed to be given at night they have
produced costiveness tho without any uneasy sensation
in the Bowels, she has n [ot] had a passage since the
operation of the Calomel (say 48 Hours) and we
are somewhat apprehensive that [the Pills] she takes at night
may produce Saturation, tho there is at present no
indication of such a re=
=sult

I am always Yours &c
