Dear Sir,
I have a boy that has his head very much
affected, which proceeded from the toothache one side
of his head is very [much] swell'd and face, and he cannot
open his jaws. I have given salts, had him bled, and
applied blisters, which has no good affect. The pain still
continues violent - and I am apprehensive of a lock jaw-
you will therefore delay no time, but come as soon as
practicable, and you will much oblige me
Most Respectfully Yours
