ult. but as yet have recd. no powders. If you
conceive them necessary please send me a sup-
ply by the next mail driver. I have discon-
tinued the cloths to day in consequence of
extreme pain last night. This evening I am
much more easy except pain in my left
shoulder extending round to the breast, and
an attack in my right wrist which has mea-
surably deprived me of the use of my hand.
I am at a loss to say whether the cold ap-
plications have been beneficial or otherwise.
